Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) can happen anytime, anywhere and to anyone, it knows no boundaries!
It is a proven fact that early use of a defibrillator is the only effective treatment for SCA.

Heart Safe Communities

DefibrillatorsHeart Safe Environments are growing throughout the UK but are there enough Heart Safe Communities in Gloucestershire? Would you like to create a safer place for you to work, live and play? Defibrillators in Gloucestershire Schools

SAVE LIVES… Put defibrillators in our Schools!

AniCamden Campaign
Here is a recent Interview about the AniCamden Campaign getting defibrillators into ALL schools, following the death of her daughter at school in 2002.

Rosh’s interview on ITV London 6pm 13/5/16.

We expect that there are many more tragic and preventable stories around the UK that would just highlight the necessity for defibrillators to be placed in all our UK schools!

Charities – Funding & Support

There are some amazing charities in the UK that are there to help with funding and support, one being Hand on Heart – Funding defibrillators for Schools, as mentioned in the above interview; also the cardiac charity SADS UK, which aims to save lives, providing information, funding research and medical equipment to prevent premature sudden cardiac death.

Schools – You can now purchase a Defibrillator at a REDUCED COST!

The Department for Education, working with the Department of Health, has negotiated an arrangement with NHS Supply Chain for schools to purchase AEDs from them at a reduced cost.

In April 2016 they published this guide: Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) – A guide for schools.

This guide is intended to provide schools with an overview of the various issues they may wish to consider when installing and maintaining automated external defibrillators (AEDs) on their premises.

For schools that would like assistance with purchasing an AED, the Department for Education has negotiated an arrangement with NHS Supply Chain to enable the purchase of AEDs which meet a certain minimum specification at a discount. Further details can be found in the ‘Purchasing an AED’ section on page 10.
